This professional headshield has the added benefit of being powered by the energy of the welding arc or when the arc is not striking, from a combination of solar power and an internal lithium battery. It provides eye protection to EN397. The arc activated feature provides a clear view when not welding and instantly changes to the required shade or filter when the arc is struck while the adjustable headband leaves both hands free for working.
