JSP EVO5 DualSwitch Blue Climbing and Safety Helmet
Discover…
The JSP EVO5 safety helmet has a unique Dualswitch feature which allows the helmet to be suitable for ground-level protection or for working at height. To conform to EN 397, the chinstrap is set to self-release when a force of between 15kg and 25kg is applied to avoid strangulation if snagged. Meanwhile, the EN 12492 setting is designed for climbing situations so the chinstrap will only release when a force of 50kg or greater is applied. This is to reduce the risk of losing the helmet itself in the event of a fall. This change is achieved through an incredibly easy-to-use switch so there’s no need to swap chinstraps.
